University of Minnesota
James Boyd-Brent is an artist/printmaker, and art and design
educator (drawing and graphic design at the University of Minnesota).
James enjoys researching the behavior of water and demonstrating
its charcteristics in his work. He recently co-curated Here
by Design II, an exhibition of contemporary Twin
Cities design. His own work has a topographical aspect—it
is an attempt at mapping a sense of localness in a
culture that
seems both to assert and to deny the significance of
place. He has exhibited his work throughout the US
and UK.
