Exhibition Review
Exhibition Article
In the last three years, we have tried to draw attention to local design in the two Goldstein exhibitions "Here by Design," and "Here by Design II." Students have been actively involved with these projects by participating in installation, attending seminars with the designers, and class visits. We feel that these exhibitions have helped students make connections with local graphic designers and also learn more about the Twin Cities. business environment.
SENIOR SHOW:
2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005
Curator: James Boyd-Brent
Senior Shows are designed and put together entirely by graduating seniors. Shows from the last few years have been: "Fresh Meat" (2001), "Green" (2002), and "Best Yet!" (2003).
Creative works on display are self-selected, and include class projects and free-lance design projects, and span the interdisciplinary design produced in the Department of Design, Housing, and Apparel—graphic design, clothing design, and interior design—using methods and materials that range from the handmade to digital tools and technologies.
The Senior Show takes place between the end of April and the middle of May each year.
